Marianas Trench is a Juno-nominated Canadian pop punk band from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 2001. They have released three full length albums, the most recent titled Ever After, released on November 21, 2011, along with 2006's Fix Me and 2009's Masterpiece Theatre. Lead singer, guitarist, and lyricist Josh Ramsay (Born June 10th, 1985) grew up in a musical family, with his mother being a singing teacher and his father owning a recording studio. Ramsay also shared the love of music and started a solo career at the age of 14.
