Back Door Slam are a blues band from the Isle of Man. Originally a four piece - with their friend Brian Garvey on rhythm guitar, who was tragically killed in a car accident as a teenager - they then played together as a three piece for a year or so with the line up Davy Knowles (guitars, vocal, songs), Jamie Armstrong (bass) and Ross Doyle (drums). In 2007, Jamie left to pursue a career in music engineering, and mutual school friend Adam Jones replaced him on bass. The band then headed to America and played 310 dates in support of debut album 'Roll Away'.
