Please note that there're various artists and groups around the world called 'Omega'. This may lead to some confusion, e.g. the featured track below (Sound Of Death) doesn't belong to the well-known Hungarian band. Description of the artists follows. Omega is one of the most successful Hungarian rock bands. Formed in Budapest in September, 1962 by the winds player László Benkő on organ and János Kóbor as a singer and rhythm guitarist, they initially performed covers of British and American rock songs, with frequently changing the lineup of members.
