陰陽座 (Onmyo-za) is a Japanese heavy metal band who released their first commercial album in 1999. They play quite orthodox heavy metal music comparable to Iron Maiden or Judas Priest, mixed with Japanese folk and pop musical elements. They are not visual kei, but are known for their theatrical live performances with kimonos. Members: Matatabi (Bass & Vocals), Kuroneko (Vocals), Maneki & Karukan (Guitar), and Tora (Drums).
