There have been several groups named Orpheus: 1. A sunshine pop group formed in 1967 in Boston, MA. 2. Orpheus are a metal band from Waterford, Ireland who originally formed under the name Cerberus in October of 2004 with members Paul Whelan, Dave Cleere, Anthony McFeely and Cormac McCoy. In 2005 there was a line-up change with Cormac McCoy leaving the band and John Everett stepping in to take over at the sticks.
