Same Difference are a British pop duo, made up of siblings Sean and Sarah Smith. The group rose to fame in 2007 after coming third-place in the fourth series of reality television talent show, The X Factor. At the time of their appearance in The X Factor, Sean (born September 24, 1985) was an entertainer in his home town of Portsmouth while Sarah (born November 4, 1988) was a student. Sean left home at the age of 17 to perform on cruise ships and appeared in a number of pantomimes. Together, they performed at a local retirement home.
