Very simple, but very good song.
God bless

  Em                  C
Let it rain........Let it rain..

  G                   D
Open the flood gates of heaven
(all clean guitars playing full chords)

Whenever you go hardcore on the song, start really rocking out with power chords and distortion.

Now, there are two ways my band starts this song. (not official take 6 way)
1st=Arpeggio
so
    Em         C         G          D
e-----0---------0---------0-----------2----|
B------0-------1-1---------0-------3---3-3-|
G----0--0-----0---0------1--1-----2-2---2--|
D---2----2---2-----2----0----0---0---------|
A--2--------3----------2-------------------|
E-0-------------------3--------------------|
And just play that until the distortion part

2nd=Palm mute
e-----------------------------------------------------------------|
B-----------------------------------------------------------------|
G-----------------------------------------------------------------|
D-----------------------------------------------------------------|
A-----------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-|
E-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-----------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------|
(with distortion)
Palm mute--------------------------------------------------------
