There are 3 acts who go by the name La Peste - 1) An American punk band formed in 1976 known for their "Better Off Dead b/w Black" single. 2) A French industrial artist. 3) A Chilean screamo band. Biographies: 1) The first hailed from Boston and consisted of Peter Dayton on guitar, Mark Karl on bass, and Roger Tripp playing drums. All three members lended vocals on all tracks. 2) The second artist also known as La peste is "one of the greatest pioneers in noize speedcore/noize/experimental music.
