There are at least 8 bands that go by the name Pink Noise. 1) A Portland, Ore. New Wave/ Glam Rock band. Different incarnations have existed since 2001, starting with a wedding gig as an alter-ego to leader Viktor Nova's dark synth opera, An Evening With Dot Matrix. In 2009, bassist/keyboardist Kurt Aeon, also a member of Dot Matrix, joined Nova to compose original material for Pink Noise. Guitarist Jake Rose joined after leaving experimental group Childhood Friends. In June, the trio started gigging around the Northwest U.
