There are 2 bands called PK: 1) A Three-piece Punkband from the Netherlands, formed in 1999 or 2000. The name comes from the dutch name for Peanutbutter. 2) Long time friends and members of multiple local bands, PK formed for both the sheer joy of playing music and at the same time to help strengthen the weakening scene in their hometown of San Luis Obispo, CA. In 2007 PK recorded a five song EP entitled Casting Shadows at Green bean Studios in Sunland, CA. With the strength of this EP, PK established a strong following in Central and Northern California.
