According to their own bio's, Ultra Violet Radiation is a band that considers themselves an emo / punk band. They have lots of styles, though, so don't be fooled by stupid labels. The band was formed back in 1995 and consisted of Christopher Lee Powell and Justin Rio . When they recorded Nothing in 1997 they had a friend that helped them out on bass. I haven't heard Nothing but apparently it sounds like Nirvana.
