Filmmaker is a Canadian foursome that came together quickly in the wake of the breakup of bassist Michael Dawson and drummer Troy Bjorndal's band at the time. They gained a reputation for their wild stage shows, which often result in mass destruction. The addition of vocalist/guitarist Carl Johnson and guitarist Andrew Chevrier was integral to the group. Johnson's melodic singing coupled with Dawson's lyrics allowed the Saskatchewan-based band to become a cult favorite in Western Canada.
