Kari Rueslåtten (born October 3, 1973 in Norway) is a solo singer, who has also worked with other artists. She posseses a unique voice which can be described as expressive and delicate and classy. She was the first full-time female singer in the wave of doom metal bands. She made her debut in a local rock-band in 1985, before she attended music school (classical singing) in 1987. She was a co-founder of the doom metal band The 3rd and the Mortal, and released two albums with them before she left the band in 1995.
