Özdemir Erdoğan was born in İstanbul on 17 of July, 1940. His mother was a classical piano player and his uncle was a violin and a piano player also. Because of his very close relations with this two very important artists in his life, his music education had already started. Between the years 1940-50, it was almost impasible for him to have a serious music education because of the governments economical crises after the war. Also his father had never wanted his san to be a musicion.
