There are at least six artists or bands that go by the name of Ruin. 1) RUIN were hardcore punk rock contemporaries of the 1980s. This was the band that used the name originally. They toured the continental U.S.A. They were acknowleged by Leonard Cohen in SPIN for covering his "Master Song." Maximum Rock'n'Roll ran a feature interview with the band and covered their performances and releases.
