Comrades and labelmates of Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid (previously House of Krazees)is another Michigan-based rap duo whose act originated with a somewhat similar makeup image (but with Twiztid's ever-present eerie contact lenses), an open obsession with serial-killer horror films, and lyrics that related to their roots in Detroit's east side. Jamie Madrox (James Spanolio) and The Monoxide Child (Paul Methric) cast themselves in the role of psychotic axe murderers on their 1998 debut album, Mostasteless, a portmanteu of the words "Most" and "Tasteless".
