USA consisted of Gene Booth, Brian Calvin, Corre Dilworth, and Devin Johnston. The band formed in Chicago in 1994 and disbanded in 1998. In those four years, it released an ep entitled Ybbissai Baby (Drag City, 1995), produced by Bundy K. Brown, and a full length record entitled Little Birds (Drag City, 1998), produced by Jim O'Rourke. They toured the Northeast with Smog and the South with Palace Brothers.
