1) Yaphet Kotto is an American actor who has also recorded tracks such as Have You Dug His Scene and Have You Ever Seen the Blues (c. 1968). 2) The emotive hardcore band Yaphet Kotto, formed 1997 in Santa Cruz, California, is named in homage to the actor. The group is now based in San Francisco, California. Its members are Creeyvy May, Lincoln Borst, Nicolas Gravery, CASEY WATSON, and Alexander Depp. Some of its members formed Saviours.
