Ian Dury (12 mai 1942 – 27 mars 2000) est un musicien et chanteur de rock and roll britannique connu essentiellement pour avoir été le fondateur/leader et chanteur du groupe Ian Dury and the Blockheads mais également pour être auteur de la célèbre maxime « Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll ». Né à Upminster, quartier du district londonien d'Havering, Dury souffre dès 7 ans d'une poliomyélite qu'il avait selon lui contracté dans une piscine. Il en conserva une jambe atrophiée.
